A Note From Miss Easdale -

We first started The Gillian Easdale School of Dancing over 45 years ago! Back then we held our classes in Johnstone Castle Community Centre and have had several other venues over the years before lately being in Glenburn Parish Church Hall.

​

Over the years I have taught many students and some of them have gained such a love for dance that they have gone on to either take their Teaching Diplomas with me or taken up a career in dance or choreography and this is the most wonderful compliment for me. But even just meeting former pupils and hearing them say how much their dance classes meant to them and remembering the fun they had and the friends they made is very satisfying to hear.

Despite trying to retire in 2016, Miss Easdale is still at most of the classes. Her retirement lasted two weeks! When Miss Easdale isn’t at the studio helping with dance classes, or teaching her own tai chi classes - she’s making headdresses. costumes or planning dances for next years show (yes this is true give it 2 weeks after this show!)

Qualifications 

Miss Gillian Easdale is a Fellow and Member of the BATD -  Fellowship Stage, Membership Ballet, Modern Dance, Freestyle, Rock and Roll,   Associate  Club Latino & Country and Western. In 2004 Gillian was awarded BATD Life Membership.
